Booking Fees.

We have simplified the pricing of our service so as to cut out any hidden fixed costs or extras.
The total cost is the sum of all the services that are arranged for your walking holiday plus our booking fee which is calculated as a percentage of that total cost.

The percentage applied varies dependent on the number of persons involved in the walking group. The percentages are shown on the adjacent table.

CONDITIONS

It is acknowledged that in using the booking services there will be a fee charged by Walking Support on all costs as per the table above.
The only exception to the fee percentages applies to the booking of low cost accommodation sush as tent pitches. In such examples the accommodation element for the booking will be a minimum of a 4 per person per night arrangement fee.

Walking Support does not provide any cover for cancellation or loss or damage to luggage. We can advise clients on appropriate holiday cover and we would strongly recommend that this is considered by the client.

The payment of the fee to Walking Support will be in two parts. The first will be based on an estimate of the total booked service and will be 50% of the fee payable. This is a non-refundable payment.
The balance will be paid a minimum of three weeks prior to the service delivery and will be calculated on the actual costs being paid to the accommodation and/or service providers.
Late payment against these invoices may be surcharged at a rate of 5% per each weeks delay.

Cancellation of a booking in part or in total will result in the loss of the first non-refundable payment and may additionally incur further costs based on the timing of that cancellation. These potential costs relate to the terms and conditions of the service providers, and to Walking Support residual fee. We will endeavour in all cases relating to our service providers' cost to recover all of the stated costs and with the majority of the providers cancellation costs only apply when the cancellation is less than 2 weeks from the time of the visit or service.
Walking Support will only have additional fees greater than the 50% if the cancellation come after the receipt of the our second invoice and the sum will be dependent on the level of work undertaken in the final stages of arranging the package.
In the case of a partial cancellation Walking Support's fees will remain unchanged to that stated at the time of the client accepting our outline plan and estimated costs.

All invoicing will be through and payments made to our parent company SCSupport Ltd.

Walking Support is able to receive deposits and payments for our various services using electronic means. We can acccept the following card payments using a secure payment system.
Payment Cards

With on-line transaction we require to apply a 3.9% transaction fee to cover our costs of such a money transfer. All payments are to be in (sterling) and where there is an international client with currency transfer costs these have to be carried by the payer along with any payer and payee bank charges.

Payment is through our registered trading business SCSupport Ltd and we will either issue you with an Invoice in advance of payment or a Receipt on receipt of a payment.
